  • If you love what you can do with Music Maker Jam, but want to be able to do a lot more, Music Maker 2014 is definitely for you.andnbsp; The program will even allow you to import your portable creations from Music Maker Jam.

  • Little for existing users to get overly excited about, but still an accomplished program that has a lot to offer.

    We Like:

Amazingly simple to use yet yields great results.
Wide range of effects, instruments and samples.

    We Don't Like:

Feels a little basic at times.
Can be fiddling and time consuming to bring a project to its conclusion.

  • More samples and better performance than ever before - this is the friendly face of music production at a great price. The program is very flexible and you are able to create your own custom workflow to suit your style.

If you're looking for an easy-to-use software, and you want to start composing your own music, Magix music maker is the deal. It allowed me to start the music in a playful way with just the loops that are provided. Then I realized that it's not so easy to be a "composer". I have used the virtual instruments automatically and composing with a keyboard, And for those who have an instrument they can also record and use this software to add some additional effects and instruments.

What I appreciate the most about this software is that there's everything we need especially for the person who wants to start composing music.

I recommend this software for those wishing to discover the creation and the composition of music, those who begin to play an instrument and want to record. But experienced musicians will turn into ( Cubase, FL studio, Reaper...).

    Pros :

    • Great quality sound.
    • Too many possibilities of using sound effects.
    • You can load extra sounds, especially for house music.
    • You can put many different effects and presets on your instruments.
    • The software draws its strength from its more than 2,000 audio loops library from many musical genres such as rock, techno or hip-hop. Magix Music Maker also offers many virtual instruments.
    • You may like to use guitar riffs with Guitar Power, an analog synthesizer called DN-e1 or the rhythms Drum Engine box.
    • Note also the compatibility with VST instruments and many audio mixing features including adding effects with the FX Rack tools essentialFX or Vintage Effects Suite.
    • Mastering and remixing tools allow producing professional quality music.

    Cons :

    • There is one issue that when I use this application, it chose randomly if it wants to send the audio through your speakers.
    • Also, when you play music on another application, and you run this one, it will directly transfer the output to your speakers or your headphones. It doesn't help.

Magix Music Maker is a software that allows even novice users to create audio tracks using different loops of different instruments in a timeline.

    Pros :

    • Unlike many other professional multitrack software, Magix music maker helps the user in the creative part of the song by giving the prerecorded loops, this from a certain point of view limits your creativity, when in the loop depending on how many bars has been composed, already has a piece of sound made up.
    • This means that you can choose the prerecorded loop, and you can change the pitch by the pitch function, although this limits your creativity is also true that if you are novice users and a music program you have never used, you will find very easy usability.
    • You can use the virtual instruments also to interact directly by directly editing the loop of the notes via the keyboard, either by opening the loop and moving or creating new notes of different durations within it, but being a program primarily designed to make audio tracks easily and fast this option is not used much.
    • The graphical interface is very user-friendly, and it is very intuitive, like all multi-track program provides you with the timeline, in the timeline you have left all tracks, each track can load the tool, this tool you can simply import by drag and drop your loop that you like.
    • Once you import the loop, you can move it, change its properties, carry out the time stretch, change the pitch, set audio effects, create automation, increase or decrease the volume of the single loop, cut, copy and paste, etc.
    • There are all needed tools to compose a soundtrack, percussion drums, acoustic and electric basses, different types of plans, guitars chords etc.
    • You can also record external instruments by connecting directly to the computer (including the microphone to speak), or import prerecorded outer tracks. It could not miss the opportunity to also integrate a digital synthesizer, through which you can manage and edit independently a sound to your liking, the same applies to useful products to the mixing and the mastering of the track.
-Once you have created your track, you can export the song to your preferred format and play it wherever you want.

    Cons :

    • To start using a music program may be fine, but I think it is not a professional product especially when compared with its major competitors.
