Animoto generates custom, professional-looking slideshows from user-uploaded music and photos. Their "patent-pending Cinematic Artificial Intelligence technology and high-end motion design" drives the web app. They say the Cinematic A.I. analyzes users' photos and music like an actual director and editor. For instance, to analyze music the genre, song structure, energy, rhythm, instrumentation, and vocals are all taken into consideration.
Once completed, videos can be emailed, downloaded and embedded into other sites. The company says no two videos are ever the same.
Animoto's founders have a good amount of experience in the entertainment industry having produced shows for MTV, Comedy Central and ABC among other things.
Founded in 2006 by Tom Clifton, Stevie Clifton, Brad Jefferson, and Jason Hsiao, Animoto is a cloud-based video creation application that enables individual users and businesses to produce video slideshows from music, photos, animations, and other video clips. The application was created due to the poor quality of videos found on the Internet and serves only one goal: helping users create professional HD videos.
The application can be downloaded on both Android and iPhone. It also has a separate Facebook application, which proved so successful approximately 750,000 people signed up in three days. Do you plan on using Animoto as well? If so, follow these steps for a free trial.
Visit the Animoto website and explore the features and how it works. Learn to pick a style and song, customize using text, videos, and photos, and produce and share. Once done, click on ‘Get Started’ in the center of the page and begin the process of the free trial signing up.
After clicking on ‘Get Started’, you will be directed to the Sign Up page. Follow the steps and enter your email address, full name, password, and the reason for making videos or just click on the ‘Sign up Using Facebook’ option. This way, you will get the full power of Animoto for 14 days, without entering any credit card information. However, for the trial period, all videos created will be watermarked with the ‘Animoto’ logo.
After the trial expires, you will not be able to create videos efficiently using Animoto. It is imperative you choose a pricing plan. There are three options available: personal ($8 per month), professional ($16 per month), and business ($28 per month). Choose the one that best suits your budget and needs and continue using Animoto for producing professional HD videos.
Now that you feel familiar with the abovementioned steps, obtaining a free trial for Animoto won’t be a problem.

To wrap up my Animoto Review 2013, I can say that Animoto is still an awesome place to create videos online. However, it is also has limitations.

One of the quickest and easiest tools to create a fusion video is with Animoto, an online slideshow service. Animoto’s not new-it’s been around for a number of years-but the company continues to make improvements and recently overhauled the online program making it even easier to use. I recommend trying the free version of the service to see if it fits your needs. I think you'll be pleased with the quality and creativity that Animoto produces with so little effort.

When it comes down to it, Animoto does a really great job of allowing you to put together professional quality videos. With what I worked with, I feel I have only touched the surface of what can be done with this service. The quality of video is incredibly good and it is very easy to use. Because of this, I can very highly recommend Animoto.
