Great free tool for Gmail for scheduling when email is sent or returned to your inbox. Great for timing emails to when you think someone might be more prone to reading it so it doesn't get lost in their inbox, or returning an email as a reminder for yourself, so it doesn't get lost in your inbox either.
There are a large number of applications and tools which allow users to share large files with each other, such as cloud solutions like Google Drive and Dropbox (by uploading the respective file and sharing a download link with the recipient), as well as WeTransfer, which works in a similar manner. The aforementioned methods are all valid means of doing this. However, WinZip Courier takes this a step further by compressing and sending large files with very little effort required from the user. In actual fact, cloud services are used to make this work from a technical point of view. However, that part is abstracted from the user within WinZip Courier. I have used it on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied with the experience. First of all, WinZip Courier integrates with users' existing cloud-based accounts, where the most popular ones are all supported. The software is also very simple to use and user-friendly, which demonstrates that the main target market for this application is casual users who are not comfortable with manually uploading files to their cloud services and sharing the link by email - WinZip Courier basically automates this process, in a nutshell. WinZip Courier is quite pricey for what it does, especially when considering that services such as Dropbox and Google Drive offer a generous amount of free storage space - so it may appear more cost effective for users to first compress a file using WinZip or any other compression tool, proceed to upload it to their favourite cloud storage account, and then share the link to this file by email. All this would most likely be free, although it would take a few more steps than using WinZip Courier. So the biggest advantage of WinZip Courier is the simplicity and shorter workflow required to send a large file.

I have to admit that I genuinely like what AwayFind is doing here. I think that having the ability to receive “priority” messages via SMS and other outlets is a good way to stay away from checking your inbox every 5 seconds. But, I do think that there is a small audience for this service. At the very least, sign up for the starter account to see if this service could work for you; it is definitely worth looking at if you are obsessively checking your inbox.More about AwayFind

My observation with regard to Boomerang is that while it feels early for this group, the service right now is really great but I suspect they’ll continue to roll out some wonderful upgrades over time and that this is a company that will provide a nice complement to your inbox and will continue to make the entire inbox experience incrementally better as they continue to evolve and grow as a company.More about Boomerang

WinZip Courier handles the zipping and the sending rather more conveniently, from Outlook (2003, 2007 and 2010 versions, both 32 and 64-bit, but not the Office 2013 preview) or webmail services like Gmail and Hotmail using its own ZipSend service. This affordable utility provides an easier way to compress and email large files, and integrates well with Microsoft Office applications.More about WinZip Courier
