  • Overall, Todoist is a close-to-perfect product if you want to manage tasks across a wide range of platforms, especially if you want to share them. Whether you’re a family wanting to share tasks or a business team wanting to be able to delegate, Todoist is a really good product.

  • There are so many other features that Todoist offers (and even more for premium users); I’ve only just scratched the surface. If you like navigating by keyboard, you’ll really appreciate their productivity-boosting keyboard shortcuts. You can use labels to organize your tasks even further or to quickly sort them.

Then there is “Todoist Karma,” which is a visual tracking system that monitors your task management activities and displays your productivity trends. If you want to see how well you’re progressing throughout the week, or want to challenge yourself to do better, this feature will really come in handy.

  • Beautiful, Simple, and Feature-Filled Task Manager

    What do you like best?

The biggest challenge for software development is creating a product that is both easy to use as well as sophisticated and flexible. Todoist has done this. Its clean, simple interface is pleasing to the eye and intuitive to use. It's also packed with useful features including organizing tasks in projects as well as subtasks, adding tags, creating custom filters, repeating tasks, and more. There are many small features that are incredibly useful, like the ability to include links within the task description itself (such as a link to an email, website, or google doc).

The mobile app is consistent and in sync with the web version and very easy to use. Incredibly responsive customer service.

    What do you dislike?

  • The Todoist task management application is a highly functional application that leverages the power of user-friendliness to help users save time and stay organized. The task management is versatile and convenient, feature-rich, and flexible due to compatibility across multiple devices and platforms. Plus, users can try the free version to determine whether or not Todoist accurately serves their organizational needs.

  • I can say unequivocally that I'm a Todoist user now. I like what they've put together and I like where they're headed. Asana is great for larger teams and I'll continue to use it (and recommend it) for that purpose, but Todoist is now my personal task management application of choice.

  • Todoist's sophisticated collaboration options and cross-platform presence makes it one of the most effective task management apps around. However, the complex task menu takes some of the shine off it, so we'd recommend sticking to the free version until Todoist offers a fix.

  • I’m really liking Todoist, and if you’re not getting all of the organization you want out of your current task manager, this is one to try. Make lists within lists within lists, and then inside of those lists, make some more lists if you need to. You can do what you need to do so that you’ll get the job done. Todoist really does empower you to become a getting things done conqueror.

But unless you want to lay out some cash, Todoist will conveniently forget to let you know it’s time to do all of that conquering.

  • While it’s a good app, I said earlier it won’t replace Pocket Informant for me. That’s because it’s just a task manager. I like having my calendar and tasks together, but for someone who’s just looking for a clean, powerful task manager, Todoist might be the right one for you.
