Like many other online file sharing solutions available in the market today, SugarSync is also a very secure and easy to use the platform to share files and save data on the cloud. With the ease with which this software can be used on multiple devices like phones and laptops increase user comfort and becomes a very convenient tool to use at any point in time. SugarSync allows its users to share file across multiple devices in one go. One can simply drag and drop the file to be transferred and send it across with minimum amount of clicks. To locate a file already present in your ‘My SugarSync’ folder, there is a search bar provided for user convenience. With this feature, one does not have to scroll through the documents to find the desired result.
I have to admit, I'm not using Cubby a lot. There is so many competition, that at sometimes, you need to stick to one. Cubby is not very popular, so when you want to share with others, you will get a lot of "I don't have a Cubby account". I know, the answer is "go get one, it's free" but you will receive a "why, I already use ***" So, why Cubby? First, it's by LogMeIn, one of the best cloud company. Second, they give you 1 GB free for each friend you invite, and that's a lot! And Third... you have a real selective sync. Instead of having a root folder, with a subfolder, you create "Cubbies". A Cubby is like a folder. You can share, and sync a Cubby. When you install the desktop client, you will select which Cubby you want to sync. You may want to sync your documents on your personal and professional computer, but maybe sync your personal picture only on your personal computers. Also, maybe your pictures are on your C: drive, but your documents are on your D: drive. With Cubby, you select the Cubby, click sync, and choose the destination folder, for each Cubby. I use it to sync my Outlook signatures, my games save, my apps configurations, etc. You can simply create a Cubby by Dragging and Dropping a folder into Cubby. It may be used to share, or to backup. Unfortunately, storage is pretty expensive. You can have 1 TB for 10$/month from competition while with Cubby, 1 TB will be 40$/month. The Cubby client is pretty big, without a lot of advanced features. They have DirectSync to sync across computers, without the cloud, but only with the paid version. The data is encrypted, and you can add client-side encryption if you really need it!
Citrix Sharefile is a late entrant to the crowded file sharing and storage service market. It provides robust and secure cloud storage and offers complete file tracking for shared files. It can be easily integrated with some enterprise applications. Files are encrypted both in transit and while in storage on their servers. One can remotely remove the shared content in case of device theft.
Citrix Sharefile has made sharing the files very easy through email using a plugin. The process remains the same as attaching a file in your email. So, without any change in user experience, one is able to large media files through their email. But attaching a large file via email can take a very long time. So one can simply upload the file and share a link to the file with the recipient. The recipient can then access this file from anywhere and any device using a web browser. Citrix Sharefile deploys AES 256-bit encryption which is an advanced encryption method. Citrix servers are also protected by various antivirus solutions and firewalls so as to protect your files from theft. It offers complete control of your files by providing complete tracking of who accessed the file and providing an ability to set file link expiration date. The best feature is that it maintains unlimited file versions for all the files. This helps to restore the file to any previous version and is very helpful when multiple people are working on the same file. Citrix Sharefile can seamlessly integrate with any Enterprise Content Management System like Microsoft Sharepoint or Filenet. One can even connect to other cloud storage providers like Box, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and Dropbox.
One cannot add an additional layer of password protection to their files. This makes sharing your files using a link is very vulnerable. Anyone having an access to that link can download the file. So there is no way to share files with a view only mode. Citrix Sharefile is a very expensive file sharing option for enterprises especially when they have a large number of users. It is only cloud-based and does not offer an option to have a folder synced on every device.

SugarSync is by far the most sophisticated of all synchronization programs. Covering PC, Macintosh and mobile phone users, the company has presented a full range of data protection for the kaliedescope of computing users.Ease of use, secure sessions between the cloud transfers, support for mobile users, and add on storage for some company referrals isn’t a bad deal for the price. All in all this product’s appeal is as sweet as “sugar.”More about SugarSync

I hate beta because it can entice developers to keep their product in a constant state of development (I’m looking at you, Google). Even in Cubby’s beta infancy, I believe it is the first true competitor to make a legitimate run on the cloud syncing crown. LogMeIn has a solid user base and they are known for producing a good product at the right price. If they extend that level of quality and product innovation into an already feature robust Cubby, Google Drive will be the least of Dropbox’s problems.More about Cubby

What do you like best?Sharefile did make saving files that were too large for our case management software (Legal Files) more convenient. What do you dislike? It isn't particularly intuitive and was very buggy when we used it. For co-workers with less reliable internet connections or who were less computer literate it was incredibly difficult to use.Recommendations to others considering the productThere are easier programs to use out there. ShareFile gets the job done in that it does store large files. When we were using it there seemed to be constant problems with uploading and organizing files. While I'm sure some of that was attributable to user error since we have some employees who are less computer literate, the difficulty they experienced turned us off this product. What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized? We used it to store large video and audio files, which it did do. It was getting the documents in there and organized that was more difficult.More about Citrix ShareFile
