  • If you’re just thinking of backing up a couple of gigabytes here and there, like your personal photos or documents, then Carbonite is definitely a service you should examine closer. It’s easy to use, has a decent pricing structure and backs up reliably.

  • Easy and Convenient

I use Carbonite to back up my computer, my phone and my tablet. It does it automatically every 24 hours and I never have to worry about losing my work, videos, music or photos. It also awesome because I can access all of my files on any of my devices from my phone, which is super convenient. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is completely reliable. I have been using the service for 4 years now and have never had any kinds of problems with it. Always reliable, always fast. I highly recommend Carbonite to anyone that needs easy backup and restore service without having to do a thing.

Pros : Fast, easy to use, reliable, can access all info from all devices

  • Carbonite is an easy-to-use, secure, and reasonably priced online backup with no storage limits and good mobile apps, but it doesn't cover external drives and lacks much in the way of file sharing.

  • If you are looking for a backup storage provider for home use or a small business. carbonite has got you covered – provided you work primarily in a Windows based environment. If you are a Mac user, our suggestion is to try elsewhere.
Overall, we feel that Carbonite is a solid choice for many users needing simple and unlimited backups.

  • I like the unlimited storage that Carbonite provides, and the basic service is inexpensive at $59 a year. However, the fact that you can't do a complete online backup (although you can mirror your files to an external drive) is disappointing.

  • The unlimited online backup that comes with Carbonite Basic means that you never have to worry about running out of space. Most importantly, you will also not have to pay extra for additional storage if your account exceeds a stated limit. A wealth of effective backup and restore features, combined with excellent customer support and strong security measures, makes Carbonite Basic a worthy choice for the home user seeking a simple and automatic method of backing up important digital data.
