  • ADrive is a cloud storage provider that offers up to 50GB of free storage. While they do have a high free storage capacity, they still have a few shortcomings. But, for some people, the high storage capacity is all they need to make ADrive the solution for them.

  • However, it is important to remember that this is only for 100GB and if you need more storage space, you will need to pay a higher price. The service may be limited when compared to other options, but overall ADrive is an effective solution that offers good performance, ease of use and reasonable prices.

  • ADrive tries to win over users with the promise of an exquisite amount of free storage space: 50GB! But there's no such thing as a free lunch. ADrive comes with a lot of caveats, and it's difficult to recommend to most users.

    Pros:

    -50GB free storage.
-Flexible DIY options for Linux users.

    Cons:

-Free account doesn't include desktop apps.
    -Not straightforward to use.
-Comes with a lot of caveats.
    -No continuous backup.

  • ADrive is an excellent choice for anyone shopping for a low price on cloud storage. Their free plan is among the most generous in the industry, though it's a little more limited in terms of features.

  • ADrive offers well enough free space and benefits to start with. The 60-day free trial gives a real experience with its premium and business features. If you are okay with scheduled sync (instead of instant sync) then you may like its paid plans which start from $2.5/month for 100GB.

    Pros

    • 50 GB free storage is a nice offering
    • Simple and easy to manage
    • The dedicated backup feature comes handy to protect stuffs

    Cons

    • The backup and sync features work on schedule basis, not instantaneous
    • Desktop app is only for paid users
    • No phone or live chat support

  • Overall, the ADrive service is good, but with few features for users and with not much going for its free plans, it’s understood why some users feel duped. Security is pretty much non-existent with the free plan, and features that should be present for any customer, like support, are limited. However, combing through message board posts reveals that most customers are not satisfied with the service’s customer support. The support comes by way of a ticket system, which is increasingly common. However, contact is only by email, which is by definition impersonal, not to mention sometimes extremely inadequate and time consuming when trying to communicate problems or solutions.

  • Overall, ADrive is a bargain Cloud backup and sync package, but it's issues and tricky file recovery count against it.

  • ADrive is looking to revolutionize the way people use cloud storage and is trying their best to make it more acceptable to the masses. They are achieving this by offering 50 GB of storage absolutely free to any customer that wants it, and a free two week trial on any of their package options so that you can see what they are all about.

  • Drag-and-drop uploading and one-click downloading make ADrive a simple online storage provider to use. The seven-day file archiving is nice, but many of the online storage services we reviewed have longer time frames. If you need more than 100GB of cloud storage, ADrive starts to become costly.

ADrive is ideal for backing up small amounts of data because of the 50GB free storage plan. However, the lack of true file archiving and encrypted storage means that your data isn't as safe from loss as the best online data backup services.
