In the subject of online marketing, it is very important to analyse and track statistics related to user interaction with your website. The most popular product for doing so is undoubtedly Google Analytics. However, there are some products that are just as good and offer some more interesting features, which are worth looking into. One such product is Clicky, which truly stacks up with Google Analytics, and even has some great features that are missing from Google Analytics. First of all, Clicky is very easy to setup - just like Google Analytics and HotJar. Installation is quick and effortless. Similar to Analytics, Clicky has some methods to access the data, including mobile apps, a web application and even browser extensions. Clicky can even integrate with the most popular content management systems (such as WordPress and Joomla) very easily, through the installation of plugins. Unlike Google Analytics, Clicky's data is provided in real-time, and it is even possible to see detailed data on visitors currently accessing the website, at a particular point in time. This detailed data includes IP addresses, geographical data and other demographics. It is also possible to view the source of traffic, which helps to improve SEO and target the website for particular keywords and topics. Besides this, Clicky also shows users' engagement on the site, and the inclusion of heat maps (similar to HotJar) greatly aids in figuring out which parts of the website are most relevant for particular users. Unfortunately, heat maps and some other extremely useful features are only available in premium versions of Clicky. Clicky also provides statistical data based on a website's performance on social media, including engagement, shares, comments, etc. This statistical data and other analytics are easily visible on Clicky's dashboard, which only contains the most relevant data that most users would want to take a look at quickly, within a summarised format.
Flickr is a well-known online application for sharing photos. It's generally used by avid photographers and professional photographers sharing pictures from professional cameras of either life events or professional events. Mostly, it's random photos and a ton of views of them. Really, there needs to be a better way to control the amount of low-quality and similar types of photos uploaded. You don't really see this problem on other sites like Facebook and Instagram, probably because you can just mass upload to Flickr as more of a digital storage ground rather than sharing with a particular audience. Flickr gives you a terabyte of storage, which is huge, and probably encourages this "mass upload every single angle you took and don't worry about deleting anything" mentality. You can organize photos by albums and tags, to organize them by events, days, etc. Flickr works on all platforms and devices too. With Flickr Pro at just $5.99 per month, you can get stats on your photos, add free browsing for you and your photo-viewers and annual plans save on shipping of Flickr photo merchandise and 20% Adobe Creative Cloud. Pictures show all the camera data, for photo nerds. You can favorite, share and download photos if allowed by the publisher. Publishers can also set the licensing terms, such as whether other people can use, modify or edit for commercial purposes. Being that the site attracts photographers with high-quality cameras, most pictures are of high-quality. Many pictures are of nature too.

Clicky Analytics is what I use when I want to make sure I understand my audience’s behavior. Try it out – after you sign up, you get all the premium features for one month without paying a cent. After that trial period Clicky is still functional and useful. Updating would be the better thing to do though.More about Clicky

It is not that Alexa is the #1 service available, but they do provide one of the better services while being free. Every few years it seems they fall behind and become a bit of a relic, and then every few years they catch up. Recently when using Alexa I saw they added a good number of features, so I thought it would be worth doing a run down.More about Alexa

Intuitive and clean user-interface, reasonable pricing and some innovative features make Clicky a Google Analytics alternative worth taking a closer look at. Clicky has become my favorite analytics solution and I gladly recommend it.More about Clicky
