Ahrefs is the most accurate, but not the most comprehensive, backlink analysis tool that I’ve ever used. What I mean by that is that any link it tells you is there is most likely there, as stated. However, it often does not find all of the links that are out there. It is continuously getting better at finding more and more links, but if you need a comprehensive list, you may want to combine the list from Ahrefs with other tools, like MajesticSEO and Open Site Explorer. You may even want to run the resulting list through SEO PowerSuite’s SEO SpyGlass to get the live information about those links. But, if you are looking for an overview of a link profile, Ahrefs will do that for you without a bunch of additional processing. You will get an accurate list of the most prominent links for the site, even if you don’t get a completely comprehensive list. But, the more comprehensive tools tend to have more inaccuracies in them, particularly links that are no longer there. One great feature that Ahrefs has that the other tools haven’t seemed to incorporate yet is the ability to filter out links that are in your disavow file in Google Search Console. You’ll have to download your list from Google Search Console and manually upload it into Ahrefs, but then it will ignore links that have been disavowed, giving you a much more accurate look at your list of links without having to export links and manually process them. It is a great feature.
- Has a very accurate list of backlinks for analysis - Runs quickly - Supports Disavow files - Can check on competitors easily
- Doesn’t have the most comprehensive list of backlinks for analysis - The uploaded Disavow file applies to all reports, not just the site you upload it for - The tool is one of the more expensive backlink tools

This is a great tool to use for finding problems to correct with your desktop or mobile website.
AWR Cloud support is terrible, even when you need help with something as simple as your account billing. The product has potential, but we're still looking for the best solution. I find the competitor views completely unusable because the competitor names overlap so much that you can't read them, and it doesn't look professional enough for me to pass on to clients.
As the owner of a small online marketing firm, I’ve spent some time reviewing and testing out different SEO software solutions. A lot of the solutions I tried were really great for bigger enterprises and agencies, but missed the mark when it came to small businesses. In WooRank, reviews and reports are completely customizable, which is great since reporting shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all approach. Even the suggestions are personalized. They do a great job of providing information and results that compare a site’s page strength, backlinks, keywords and more with other competitors in the industry. Basically, they lay everything out for you in a way that’s clear and simple. My clients, who typically have no technical SEO understanding, were able to follow along. The White label branding was super important to me, as well. WooRank offers a free trial for both plan options, Pro and Premium. While our team enjoyed WooRank, we found that we could get very similar, if not exact, reporting out of other tools for a fraction of the cost. We used WooRank for a few months, but have moved on to a more all-in-one solution that isn't limited on the number of reports you can pull.
WooRank is very easy to use, great for small business and lays results and reports out in a way that is concise and simple to understand. Everything is customizable and personalized so figuring out what’s working well and what isn’t is easy to see.
There are limited amounts of advanced reviews per month, which can be problematic. There is a huge jump in cost between Pro and Premium when the differences don’t seem to be that significant.

Now that the basics are out of the way I have to say that I absolutely love the Ahrefs tool. It’s fast and the graphical representations are very easy to understand (even for a novice I imagine.) In this suite you’ll find a Site Explorer, Keywords Analysis, Backlinks Report, Domain Comparison, Batch Analysis, and Competition Analysis tools.More about Ahrefs

I’ve tested quite a few rank checking tools over the years, and always came back to Advanced Web Ranking as a tool of choice. It allows you to store things over the long-haul, the user interface is faster than web UI competitors, and I’ve never had a service outage. It also combines social mentions, Google Analytics, and link data in an easy to use intuitive way.More about Advanced Web Ranking Cloud
