Visual Programming Tools Speed up Development

Visual developers are coming back to the computing environment. Platform as a Service or PaaS has contributed to this trend with a set of Visual PaaS tools becoming available. All of these tools are boosting productivity of programmers like never before.

The new workforce is better educated and the new tools are built better than the tools programmers used a decade ago. The trend has been started by writing small personal automation applets, but is now cascading into large software that uses the visual tools to speed development and uses the cloud as the basic platform.

Most of these tools are browser based. This frees the programmer from issues relating to the OS / OS version on his desktop. As a result, costs plummet and productivity soars.

Since the cloud puts up a thick layer of abstraction on the application being built, the entire process is extremely easy and fast. The programmers needs to know nothing about the underlying architecture or worry about virtualization, new instances and other technical stuff. The cloud OS takes care of all that.
