Vacancies for cloud computing touch astronomical figures
During April 2012, more than 12,000 jobs related to cloud computing technology were seen advertised online according to Wanted Analytics, the leading source of real-time business intelligence for the marketplace. Hiring seems to have grown geometrically than arithmetically, as an increase of almost 50% has been witnessed to the year before.
Technology occupations got the lion’s share in this rapid growth of vacancies as the jobs being offered were systems engineers, network engineers, software engineers etc. Other occupations high on the demand list were marketing managers, sales representatives, management analytics etc.
Potential candidates are often required to have knowledge or experience with several tools and technologies such as Oracle Java, Linux, and UNIX, Salesforce CRM etc. Nationwide, companies are likely to find cloud computing candidates hard-to-recruit, with varying degrees of difficulty in each location depending on the available talent supply.
